The Upper Peninsula is considered by some to be the last true wilderness of the lower 48 States.  Its four seasons make it a place for everyone to enjoy.  From the deep snows of winter to the sunshine that makes the water turn dark blue in the summer.  It is home to the largest fresh water lakes in the world.  Our population is very small, only 320,000 people call this home.  The "Other" Michigan is the Lower Peninsula, and is populated by 9 million people.  You see why we like it up here!
